Nail gun...

that's a staple gun

It may be a nail gun, but you should use a staple gun on roofing or hand nail it to prevent damage to the asphalt.

@glennlab Roofing nail gun look at the coiled magazine... Staplers have straight ones...

@Lizard_of_Ahaz Nail guns have both straight and coils, power staple guns as rule use a wire coil
However, You are right about it being a nail gun based on seeing the inside of the coil

@glennlab Inch and a half staples work better and someone doing their own home will sometimes use them but commercial roofing companies use nails because they are cheaper...

Also, I don't see how that Group could complain, after all, jebus was supposedly a carpenter, no?

@phxbillcee The assholes would complain if you nailed them to a cross with brand new solid gold nails....
