Hey, Jeff, I've been doing strict medically-supervised keto for just over 8 months, off several diabetes meds I was on for decades. (Type II since 1992) down 20 +lbs, and off some BP meds too. Blood pressure & all lipids are completely normal.
Fully emxpect to be med-free in the next 6-8 months. It is a freakin' "miracle" thanks to science!
Just thought I'd mention........
@AnneWimsey Great news! I think the operative phrase is medically supervised. It's not about eating tons of fat and protein.
@silverotter11 I feel amazingly better all over, and yes they limit protein as well as carbs....
