I will admit, my girlfriend, who lived up here much of her life, fears parts of the city more than I do. IDK if it's me being foolish or the fact that in the Navy I lived in the slums of San Diego (boy do I have a story of a Mexican motorcycle gang - turned out well, but I thought my life was ending) or my adventures in places like the Philippines overseas.
