If you are doing a bunch of chile it is advised. The oils build up and it starts to sting, your nose itches, eyes water, then you need to pee. Yeah, use the gloves
Maybe a ghost pepper but not green.

I have had green chile burn my hands through rubber gloves. The green chile you may be speaking of may not be, but I can guarantee you there are some out there that will definitely change your attitude
@zorialoki Yes, There are different hot levels for some of these and there is no doubt some will send you to the ER as well if not handled correctly. I am no expert on chile peppers.
@mistymoon77 Never heard of anyone wimp enough to go to ER for chile burn, but I am sure it happens.
@zorialoki I have. My ex bf had a friend that got some of the ghost pepper juice in his eyes, all I remember is hearing about the excruciating pain he went through for days after it even.

@zorialoki knowing the people he associated with, it wouldn't surprise me one bit. Between the few of them, there was maybe 6 brain cells to rub together and I may be giving them too much credit.

@mistymoon77 I once cut up a chile pequin to go into my lunch. I wasn't thinking and did not wash my hands. I had to go pee, my penis was on fire for hours, I tried everything to no avail. It eventually passed and I learned a valuable lesson. I still from time to time get it in an eye, life goes on and I still love chile so I expect it all may happen again.
