Just to play Devil's advocate
No not really

pride is at the root of prejudice

Avarice (not greed) is the root of social inequality and the belief in social superiority, class distinction and oppression

lust for anything is one of the two prime motivators of all crime (passion and profit) rape and murder spring to mind

envy again the cause of revolutions, murder, uprisings and crime generally

gluttony the cause of obesity and starvation, medical conditions and again terrible inequality
wrath causes cause, murder, battery, and war

and sloth = negligence, a culture of social indifference and ultimately the sort of decadence that destroys entire civilisations

Hardly victimless if not in themselves crimes, certainly contributory factors to criminal behaviour.

Posted by CliffordCookI groaned when I saw this Christian Nationalist Christmas meme posted by one of Donald Trump's supporters in Iowa. Then, I smiled when I saw how many of his Facebook friends had reposted it.
