This is the annual census (The great backyard bird count) conducted by Cornell, just a bit of fun. Naturally all the flocks of robins hid when it was time to count so I only reported 4.

According to NPR, 48.4 millioin birds were in flight over Wisconsin on Tuesday 08/30/2022. 'Ya don't get that kind of info on Pox Spews. Had 11+ orioles at the jelly feeder at one time. I provide them a rest stop, they provide me entertainment.

I spent a week in Monterey, CA and went whale watching. We spotted a puffin, which the crew said was pretty rare to see that far south. I wish I’d gotten a picture.
