I got really lucky to watch this Kestrel some years ago in the Canary Isles, it was hunting lizards and it caught one and devoured it but it was about 100 yards away, so not great resolution...

continued... I still wanted to feed the small birds, (but not the rats) so I bought fat balls in plastic mesh bags, made some wire hooks and hung them up, alas these kept disappearing completely, the culprits were Rooks or Crows as they call them ...
