Thrift store table/shelf thingy that had been painted gross, boring, plain white. It needed some serious love, color and attention. I'm happy with it now and enjoyed having some much needed creative time. I used acrylic and nail polish.

I make soap. These are my “ice cream bars”. They smell like chocolate and strawberry, mint, or vanilla. The “chocolate” also has activated charcoal.

His is the Islandic sweater I made about 20 years ago. Islandic wool is very long haired and has a soft, warm undercoat. It is easy to spin , even for beginners, and the yarn takes dyes easily and knits up into very warm and rugged garments.

I like applique. I enjoy finding fabrics to give the piece as realistic a look as possible. This is a quilted wall hanging I did for a friend who collects tea pots.
