Anybody here every use 3D printer? Luddite that I am I thought they were something fancy and saw them as used for making prostheses until someone on the site informed me that they are everywhere (perhaps like god) Can you tell me your experience?

Hi, You may guess that my craft is spinning and dyeing, also knitting. Myfavorite craft is spinning, which means I have lots of wool and other fibers around, also spun yarn.

I make all kinds of things. My favorite mediums are leather, wood, silver, stone, and cloth. Leather: hats, knife sheaths (I haft blades too), sword belts/harnesses, purses/bags, boned corsets, restraints (hey, you make what sells :)), masks, ...

A Steller's eider cake that I made for a friend's birthday. The bill is a little funny because the cake pan was designed to be a rubber ducky, but otherwise I'm happy with how it turned out.

I make 'ollas' for the garden. It's an unglazed clay pot you bury next to the plant and fill with water. It's like a poor man's drip irrigation system.
