This is a Century cactus in bloom. Why is it special? Becuase it will only bloom once in its life. Producing the stalk and the flowers will y kill it.

I did a little fishing this evening in my little pond by the house. Has good size Bass, bluegill, and catfish. The catfish I have in a larger pond and they are getting around 14 lbs on the average. and I just started the catfish in this smaller pond...

Hello! Newbie here! Today I kayaked a new lake in central/west Ohio, and Friday I kayaked The Scioto River into downtown Columbus. I love my Sevylor $100 inflatable! Makes microliving so much more fun.

I do a lot of hiking on the D&R canal, and my goal is to explore every inch of it. I hike wherever I can and I typically like to do at least 5 to 10 miles.

Beckler Peak. Skykomish, WA. 8 miles round trip 2200 ft elevation gain. The peak was socked in but still plenty to see. Came across a snow field and orange fungus ? That resembled cauliflower. Anyone know what it is?

Elwa River, Olympic National Park. They removed a dam to try and restore a salmon run. You can see where Lake Mills was by the edges of the new alder thickets. The view down is 200 feet, the height of the dam and vertigo inducing
