What music do you/must you work to? It's almost always for the shoppers' benefit, not yours.
At my hippie-ish food coop, each day's broken into 3.5-hour shifts, and the music's whatever the then-current manager wants to play: folk/oldies, R&B, new-agey stuff like Sia, or nineties alternative/house. One manager is a classical composer; he plays his own (forgettable) works.
