While I highly appreciate all the truth Paul Jay brings us to world events, I have to disagree with his failed socialist remark at the point of the wall being brought down. That era of the USSR was not a realistic socialist structured government. It actually resembled what we here in the US are moving towards. Or should say are! A corporate and military complex. As long as history is, there's been a battle between the power establishment to quell any socialist state of any means to succeed. I give you the Russian Revolution of 1917. Cuba and Venezuela are today's perfect examples! If you take away the sanctions and interference of the CIA and its right wing opposition there in Venezuela and they can't succeed, dare to prove us believers wrong. Chavez and Maduro have made great strides towards poverty and healthcare there despite all that's been brought down on them via interference from inside and outside entities. The middle and lower class there don't support their government because they haven't!

Ok, some AI in the job sector are going to be a factor. I don't know about real soon? ummm, doctors, truck drivers. I can almost see a machine with radar scanning a patient and taking a verbal diagnosis and spitting out a plan of relief, how close can that be? We can't even get a politician to speak about a serious plan to improve our infrastructure to provide jobs, how to you turn loose millions of trucks to deliver our merchandise? Unless they've been placing new technology in the roads over the last decade unaware to the population, I'm fairly certain my job is still safe beyond my life time.

And here we go again with the bash America shit again! I'm so god dam tired of us taking the sole beating over this shit I want to fucking scream. These people time and time admit their own countries part in this globalism, yet when over 90% of the time their work is constantly directed at us knowing it's not just us.
