Is Saudi Arabia the Middle East’s Next Failed State?

[consortiumnews.com]

([T]he life of a dynasty does not as a rule extend beyond three generations. The first generation retains the desert qualities, desert toughness, and desert strategy. … They are sharp and greatly feared. People submit to them. … [T]he second generation changes from the desert attitude to sedentary culture, from privation to luxury and plenty, from a state in which everybody shared in the glory to one in which one man claims all the glory for himself while the others are too lazy to strive for glory. … The third generation … has completely forgotten the period of desert life and toughness, as if it never existed…. Luxury reaches its peak among them, because they are so much given to a life of prosperity and ease.)

The Middle East is like a kids playground for the world oligarchs. It doesn't matter if it's the western coalition, Russia's, or China's. Everyone has a major stake in this area and it's booming business. You can actually add Africa to this also. China and Russia are right in the mix there with the western coalition also. China is pouring scores of money into Africa right now. We are to! Only where China is setting up development projects to gain natural resources, the money we are pouring in is our tax dollars providing weapons which are causing death and destruction while creating more terrorist groups. I assume at some point the real agenda will eventually rear its head there to a point it starts to become another Middle East type quagmire. But as the Saudi's go, would I be out on the limb to assume this may have been a plot all along? If the writer is right, all one needs to do is to consider the 2 groups he believes could be the next choice to become in power. Where did they originate from? Who's been working with and protecting them in Syria, and handed them Libya? Talk about a devils triangle? Latin America anyone?
