Doug Jones Risks His Alabama Senate Seat Over the Shutdown and the Wall
A hit job going down in the south? He's just not red enough to be allowed. Jones has pretty much lived up to what I thought he'd be. Liberal enough to stay in a tight race in 2020, while also crossing the line to attempt to satisfy one of the red states in the south. Voting within Trump lines 57% of the time. Along with other questionable votes siding with the GOP, he just isn't red enough though. This article truly can be seen as a hit job to move that state as far to the right as possible again. Essentially a one sided effort leaving out many issues and of the real border problem. This is the type of journalism killing our country. Provided by the NYT.

I was born there and have been back only a few times since my birth. The last time I was there was 1997 when my father past away. I've never been back again, and don't plan to ever set foot there again.
