I will suggest you post this within a wider audience on the political and general forums. There is also a facebook link for New York in which you might find someone close to you, maybe even someone you know.
I also would proceed with due caution if you didn't watch the video. Choose your preferred moments at this event carefully and wisely. Some moments at this protest can be of a disruptive manor in which arrest can or most likely will happen. Nonviolent none the less, but a part of their agenda is to push the narrative to be heard which resorts to blocking traffic and other types of public awareness at times. If you participate in such actions your arrest can happen. I went over the program fairly well and it looks like it's pretty well organized for you to pick pieces to avoid such. But with NY police you never know. They have a tendency to invade parks and start arresting people to quell public awareness before it gets much attention. Know when to get out quick. If you don't care, my hats off to you! I wish I could join you.
