How We Stay Blind to the Story of Power, While Those Who Challenge it, Like Assange, Can Wind Up Behind Bars

{If one thing drives me to write, especially these blog posts, it is the urgent need for us to start understanding power. Power is the force that shapes almost everything about our lives and our deaths. There is no more important issue. Understanding power and overcoming it through that understanding is the only path to liberation we can take as individuals, as societies and as a species.}

The one thing that drove me to creating this group was my understanding on how power is the force that shapes almost everything about our lives and our deaths, and especially our political views within a purposely constructed tribalism manor. In which our main stream media is in collaboration with that power simply because of the fact that power owns those 5 to 6 largest entities. Once you realize this is only when you begin to question more, then seek alternative answers to more factual resources who are at odds with that power structure for your benefit.

{To take one example: Rupert Murdoch’s power is visible to us, as are his negative personal qualities and occasionally the pernicious influence of his newspapers. But it is not just that his media outlets play a part in shaping and controlling what we talk about on any given day, for good or bad. They also control – all the time – what we are capable of thinking and not thinking. That is true power. And that role will never be mentioned by a Murdoch organization – or any of his supposed rivals in the corporate media. It is the preserve of blogs like this one for very obvious reasons.}

{That makes media corporations a key pillar of the matrix of power. Their journalists are servants of corporate power, whether they know it or not. Mostly, of course, they do not.}

I will however argue they do. For they are also servants to the vast wealth they benefit from to tow the line of their employers. They have seen what happens to those who dare step over that line. {But as I pointed out, the media and entertainment world – of which Freedland is very much part – are there precisely to uphold power, rationalize it, propagandize for it, and refine it so as to better conceal it. They are integral to the shadow play, to the veiling of real power. The left-right dichotomy – within the severely circumscribed limits he and his colleagues impose – is part of that veiling process.}

When a MSM source is attempting to explain fake news to you, pay close attention to how they do so. A while back The Hill put out a segment of this type of attempt to separate themselves from fake news. But during the segment both commentators actually expressed their own nature of dealing with suppression. If you're unable to fully address ALL facts and ALL aspects to a piece of news worthy to the population, then you're delivering fake news. You're a part of the problem confronting us!

When you learn to use MSM as a tool towards asking more questions, the right questions, then you just might be using MSM in a beneficial way. If you live by MSM you'll dye at its sword. I drive for a living locally. I listen to NPR all day as I do. Not because I like NPR, but to use what I learn from them here in this group a lot. NPR is one of the biggest fake news providers right up there with our MSM. They are actually largely funded by MSM. Let that sink in for a moment, if you need a moment. I use them to keep my bullshit meter calibrated.

But whichever party gets into “power,” the corporations will keep despoiling and destroying the planet, they will continue driving us into profit-making wars, and they will carry on accumulating vast wealth largely unregulated. They will be able to do so because the Republican and Democratic parties’ leaderships rose to their current positions – they were selected – by proving their usefulness to deep power. Unfortunately, that includes Sanders under the direction of a fake socialist group the DSA (Democratic Socialist of America).

{Power doesn’t need facts or evidence, even when its claims are self-evidently disruptive to the democratic process. It exists chiefly in the realm of narrative and ideology. This is a story, just like Corbyn’s “anti-Semitism crisis,” that is made true simply through repetition.}

In other words. We're most likely looking at a repeat of 2016. Where the Russian government was accused of unproven hacking of the DNC despite independent investigations findings on the DNC data being leaked by an insider. In which Assange is now falsely enduring a slow capital murder. The only indictment towards Russia was not geared towards the government, but 12 people from an Internet click bait farm with no proven ties to the government. They spent a mere $100K that miraculously seems to have persuaded a Trump win touching only 2% of social media.

{But as soon as Corbyn agreed under media and party pressure to accept the alternative – that an anti-Semitism problem had taken root on his watch – he was also implicitly forced to concede that something about him and his values had allowed anti-Semitism to take root. He found he was damned either way – which is precisely how power makes sure it emerges the winner.}

The demise of Sanders is in the making? Sanders made this same mistake in 2016 as he joined the false chorus of the Russiagate narrative rather than challenging the rigged election against him. And remains silent to it today!!! As I have said in this group on occasion, the establishment plays chess while they have us playing checkers. Sometimes years in advance. In this case, 4 years. We may quite likely be watching the planned destruction of Sanders career as we seen Corbyn's. With Sanders out of the picture---Power wins. Sanders blew the momentum of his revolution by refusing to highlight a 3 rd party when he had a massive following in 2016. And Power seeing this is mounting a means to stomp it out once and for all. Is he compliant or not!?!

The media has most people trapped seeing from day to day unable to relate history to the issues. Much like living from pay check to pay check now. We're playing checkers while they are several moves ahead of us playing a 3 dimensional chess game orchestrated by our intelligence agencies and media. Not only ours, but Israel's intelligence agencies. It has become ordinary! And therefore we come----

{We watch the drama without seeing the theater in which that drama is unfolding. In fact, power is much more than the drama or the theatre. It is the unseen foundations on which the theatre is built. To employ another metaphor, we are like soldiers on the battlefields of old. We slaughter – or are slaughtered by – people no different to us, defined as an enemy, cheered on by generals, politicians and journalists in the service of a supposed ideal we cannot articulate beyond the emptiest slogans.}
