I vote green with my dollars. Considering the strength of the current opposition, I am reluctant to vote 3rd party at all as I did once.

Due to the electoral college system, I can't vote Green, in the US ... until the Republican & Democrat candidates are equally responsible, centrist, and atheist (or, they are equally centrist & evil). Then, I can vote Green, to inform the Rep&Dems what is really important to me.
In Australia, the preferential voting system allows me to vote Green, and then allocate my secondary vote to support the lesser evil candidate between Lib/Nats & Labor. Greens in Australia can be elected, and even hold the balance of power!

Nope. People voting Green (Nader) in the Gore v Bush election gave us Bush. If Gore won there is no war in Iraq. There are thousands of more people who would not have died, and many thousand fewer refugees. We wouldn't have spent over 6 trillion dollars and counting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Third party voting usually puts the person in office those third party voters like the least. If you don't like either major party candidate, vote for the one who will get you closer, even if it is just a little bit, to the things you want, otherwise you help put the person in office who takes you farther away from what you want.

Yes, sometimes, I believe it’s the most important issue of our age. Their Brisbane candidate was great.
I’m not consistent with any party because they’re all guilty of saying daft things and peeving me at times! I generally go with what I think are the best policies.
