My company made this tempeh! We just bought a vegan "dairy" and are having a blast getting it going again. The community on The Farm in TN has been making tofu and other plant based stuff since 1973. We're pretty proud to keep it going.

Every time I'm at a BBQ and I smell the chops and sausages cooking, my mouth starts to water. I've often wondered if Vegans get the same sensation when they mow the lawn :-)

One of the negative aspects of vegetarianism / veganism for me is eating out and dining with guests. On restaurant menus I'm ordering a salad. If I have a dinner date, I often make it at my house so I cook. I would appreciate any advice .

How do you respond as a vegetarian / vegan to people who say they only eat meat from locally harvested sources where the animals are treated humanely. I know at our Farmers Market we do have one meat source that is certified humanely raised.
