When you are conditioned to believe in that which does not exist, you are lubricated to believe in all sorts of nonsense and become like this guy and MTG.

@BitFlipper well when I received my first firearm I inherited it from my passed grandfather, I was fairly anti gun at the time. Knowledge of firearms and the laws surrounding them and the instinct/need to defend my loved ones now makes me a proud gun owner. Guns have uses other than killing, ever heard of target shooting or competitive shooting?

@GipsyOfNewSpain I take pride in being able to defend my home in time of need not in owning a gun. In my experience a decent chunk of people who are "anti gun" have little no knowledge of firearms. Why be so opinionated about something when you don't know what your talking about. I don't support the nra they have lobbied for anti gun laws to scare people to go buy guns.

Maybe some people are ok with being a victim but im not. In my point of view mental health is the issue not guns. If you knew anything about why and how the 2nd ammendment got written and passed you would see that it was white supremacists who were afraid of of the people they were oppressing, specifically black slaves and native Americans who were fighting back. There is a saying that went around in some poorer neighborhoods where I grew up that went like "shop at the pawn shops in the poor side of town not the rich side" because all their stuff in the rich side of town was stolen and sold in pawn shops on the poor side of town. My house has been burglarized twice in my lifetime.

I was left with the clothes I took to bootcamp... Nothing. I was from the Disco Era.... Givenchi, Piere Cardin, Yves St Laurent suits, silk ties, italian shoes. I still remember the night of the breaking in because it was the night of Roberto Duran vs Sugar Ray Leonard boxing fight the "No Más" fight. I was in San Diego Ca, the Further I ever been from home at the time. Now I got more fine clothes and shoe pairs that I need but they are mine and I will blow the brains of any thief in my house for payback for that night. I UNDERSTAND YOU.... @Trajan61 About what? The registration of guns goes back to the Brady Bill that was only passed in the 90's. Brady was a Republican shot in the head during the Reagan years. I'm also not registering a gun or giving back a gun and I have 2 of them.

@Trajan61 I understand the reticence in regard to registration however if they were stolen there is an issue, just as there is an issue with those that have convictions for violent offences including domestic assaults having access to firearms. Kamala has a gun, you'll be ok.
