My first instar Hemileuca maia (buck moth) caterpillars are doing well on white oak. As soon as I sew some new sleeves I'll move these babies outdoors onto live branches.

Got this set up finally. I still have to build a larger filter, just have to borrow a drill. It holds 110 gallons . I put 2 of my larger turtles in and I'm watching them closely for now.

Explained to my cousin in NY that the turtle in her backyard was heading to nesting grounds - not a "dude".... and that it wasn't "lost".... then I saw this great meme.... We're reaching the masses folks!

My 9yo son is a master anole wrangler. He has discovered that if you put them on their backs they seem to have a tonic reflex and they become calm and docile.

I have two cats. They are sisters from the same litter. One is oblivious to the rain, her sister, on the other hand, hears thunder and runs out of the yard and hides somewhere ! They couldn't be more different !
