#Cats, #Caticide, #CatSurvival, #7to42StoriesOK,
I have just learned that if you wish to commit caticide do not throw him/her out of a window more than seven stories high. At six stories there is a probability that the cat will live albeit severely injured. Seemingly 7 stories allows the cat to relax, spread its legs and not achieve fatal velocity. A cat thrown from 32 stories survived uninjured as did a cat thrown out of a plane at 600 feet!
Thank you for the link to the bbc.com article, which I wish you had posted in the beginning before I was traumatized by your initial post. There is so much cruelty directed towards animals that I abhor the idea of even the suggestion I inferred. Thank fully morons & sadists do not frequent this site. Just the reminder of stories I attempt to avoid is disturbing to me.
Thank you for the comment and pointing out the excellent BBC article linked below. The post is not a manual for committing #Caticide but just as posts are made decrying religion to point out the evil. Most posts against religion however fail to identify the horrors and abominations occurring as a result of that belief just as most recipes for meat fail to highlight the way the meat on your plate was obtained. IMO there is no point in creating cognitive dissonance or avoiding reality simply because it is ugly or brutal. I believe that another expression for it is hypocrisy and censorship.
@FrayedBear Such is why I am a near vegetarian & not a scavenger carrion consumer as those who stalk the aisles of the cadaver section in the Mercado. & yes. Life is suffering as the Buddists say, but I choose not to add to it unnecessarily or with intent or malice.
I don't know whether to laugh or not.
Try gobsmacked?
Why did you post this?!?
Did you read the bbc.com reply below - it was ommitted from my original posting. The purpose to identify what fantastic animals we share our lives with and identify the cruelty of some cat owners.
I don't want to think about that. It's a terrible thing to do that to any kitty.
Agreed
Do NOT try this at home!
Mine is now so arthritic I have to gently place her outside of the backdoor instead of giving her a lobbed flying start from the top of the 6inch high step.
@SACatWalker the vet cleared her last December but like me we improve in summer. She is overall in superb health according to her blood analysis which presents results more akin to those in much younger cats. I prefer to supplement her tinned food with raw meat and fish. She has recently taken to a tinned food that contains sweet potato rather than cereals. I will look into the stuff that you suggest, thank you.
@SACatWalker once it was the best. Various right wing governments embarrassed by its news has constantly chiselled its funding.

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
