Voters not just the majority of people who showed up to vote. If you can't get a majority of registered voters to come out and vote for you then you shouldn't hold office.

- George Washington is no political hero.
- The slavery that he and his fellow founding fathers practiced led to the inequality that is destroying the country. This is the fundamental problem facing the country. Political problems merely emerge out of this.
- The fundamental political problem is not the party system but the strong presidential system that George himself wanted. It is this presidential system that weakens 3rd parties.
Thus, without the slave-owning, founding fathers and their strong presidential system, we could have had a vibrant, more democratic, multiple-party, parliamentary system in a more stable, economically just society.
- Therefore, if we want progress, we have to find heroes other than the conservative, human-trafficker George…

As a Canadian living in a country with half a dozen federal political parties, I find it interesting when I discuss politics with Americans who insist that there should only be two political parties and 3rd parties are a vote wasted.

As of now, they are. But, I think that may change, tho not quickly. The 2 parties just have so much money.
