Sick, inexcusable & almost unfathomable. & this attitude persists, & is not confined to the South. It was evident in Charlotte. It was manifest on 1/6. Tho it's current "spokes-model" is tRump this pre-dates him & will outlast him & tho it seems so simple to me, it seems impossible to eradicate.
As @bobwjr stated below, some seems motivated by envy & a need to blame others for one's own failures, but so much seems to be just hate directed wherever is easiest. How does one fight hate for it's own sake? & please, don't say "Love". I can love reasonable people everywhere, I can't muster love for this sickness nor excuse these actions.

As long as the Systemic Racism, Injustice and Violence are allowed to fester throughout our culture, it Won't end..

What happened was atrocious , an excuse to put down blacks who were successful when they weren't. White trash KKK who were unsuccessful and jealous. A day of infamy and murder
