Question

An injury to one is an injury to all. United we stand and divided we fall. How to get there at a minimum.

While there is a need to have groups for specific issues such as the environment, black, women’s rights, etc, I don’t think that they should be exclusive. I’m not talking about support groups where having say a man in say a women’s shelter may cause re-living of trauma.
The NAACP for example is not exclusive and has had white presidents at times. Men can be against women’s oppression. A group can try and expel say a sexist guy that is in a group fighting for women’s liberation. There needs to be a group that fights for everyone's rights that has a diverse leadership.

That we are discussing rights as women's rights, black rights, trans rights, or gay rights is part of the problem. None of these groups is asking for special, proprietary privileges. All they are asking for is to be just like everyone else. Too many in my demographic act like everyone else wants special treatment.

I’m seeing coalitions forming of various groups that in sum are fighting for the betterment of everyone.
