Anti-Bernie, pro-AOC Democrats are one of the most frustrating people I’ve encountered. They give their best to accept AOC, including the new congresswomen, but ignore that she comes the school of Bernie. They call him hubristic, arrogant, and old. I don’t see it. It seems that conforming their beliefs with the corporate media messaging has made hating Bernie become their new dogma. How do y’all deal with these types of people? I don’t want to turn them off voting for Bernie as some of them have already thrown their support behind Kamala Harris.

As of Feb 2, there are some 31 Democrats either running or thinking about running for president. Who knows the results come July, 2020? I am not supporting any candidate, announced or otherwise, until the primaries hit Missouri.

In the 2020 general election, I am voting for whomever is the Dem candidate. Period.

Until then, I look, forward to the primary process and learning all the candidates. Look, some we already know a fair amount about. Some will be brand new. Many we will hear plenty of talk about, but let's be careful and alert for smear campaigns, which are sure to come. I am already hearing negative claims about several candidates that contradict their own statements or other sources of info. So we need to wait and check these things carefully.

I fear if we get encamped steadfast for ONE candidate at this point, we risk splintering hopelessly in the general election and re-electing a white nationalist nazi "pussy-grabber."

I should add, Putin absolutely wants us in the U.S., Left, Right, and Center alike, to splinter hopelessly into enough factions that we become gridlocked as a nation. We are at greater risk from Russia than we want to think. Let's not reward that autocrat by doing exactly what he has worked so hard to trick us into. Sure, we should stand up for our passionate causes, but we need also to find common ground when we can, and if we villify each other, especially anyone at all left of center, over every single difference, Putin will win a massive victory that WE hand to him.

bernie for president. i want a women president as well. win you look at the lineup of females running they do not stack up. elizabeth warren is a distant second, all the others no ty. feel like its a stigma that bernie doesnt have the black vote portrayed by the media, seen polls were over 50% of black voters want bernie to run. after the primaries that# will rise

It will come down to the primaries...starting in early 2020. We can't predict at this point who'll get the "nod"...it might even be someone who's not even "jumped in" yet....I'm waiting to see if Gavin Newsome joins the fracas.

Whenever I see those tweets I just respond. I like Bernie.
Kamala Harris seems to have bent over backward trying to prove to white men that she is one of them with her enthusiasm for throwing black guys in jail and even keeping the innocent ones there. Her and other candidates said they support some of Bernie's policies but not others makes me think they are just saying stuff to get votes they have no intention of supporting later. An old ploy is to say I support this but shrug, we didn't have the votes so I voted for this terrible bill because, some half-assed idea. The quid pro quo is to be protected by all costs.

They are among the 2016 Clinton primary voters

@AmonRawr Hillbots? Of course, they still blame Bernie Bros. for her losing the election.

@AmonRawr Well , if that's the case , then they must just be basing their support on the identity politics of increasing the power of women in government , without knowing or even caring about the candidates policy positions . I would simply regard such people as being female chauvinists .
