Hummm - well Ms. Chatman is right. If the fetus is deemed a person at 6 weeks all of the legal and cultural rights should attach. But - and this is important - the sex organs do not develop until the 7th week or after. So can the 6 week old fetus-person be discriminated against based on lack of gender identification? And what about religious preference? Well I am sure these and other issues related to the fetus-person will be sorted out by the courts as the law suits proceed.

All I have to say is that: I concur with Charliss! Believe me they can make it viable in a test tube, seen it, and know where they put some things that are born. Really, why can no one get hold of a sonar grams showing the stages of development of something that requires feeding so the host has to feed it, from her blood, heart beats, blood flows not only to her cells so she can live, but must also share it with the fertilized zygote thru the umbilical cord, there is no heartbeat of a 6 week fertilized zygote, there is nothing there but some cells and that tissue they show is not skin.
skin is the largest organ of the body and is the last thing to develop.
