No shit. Repubs are total hypocrites and selective over where government should and shouldn't intervene in people's lives. They only want government involved when it involves protecting the property and profits of corporations and the rich, as well as enforcing the religion of the religious right on the rest of us. Abortion restrictions are their payback to their evangelical voters, tho they don't give them anything else but conservative judicial nominations.
