21 Nov 2019-Diet DIary- Calories went high today, just broke 1300, mostly because I seriously underestimated how many calories I would end up with making those stir-fried, oriental style green beans. I really like fresh green beans cooked that way and tried a recipe for them tonight. Turned out good but when I put it through the recipe analyzer it was a lot of calories. Well, probably won't make them again for months and when I do, I will try some modifications of the recipe as it used more oil than I think would be needed and also more soy sauce (salt) than needed. Salt is not my friend!
Appointment for eyes tomorrow, don't plan to enjoy this one. Will eat out somewhere, depends on what my friend/driver feels like. Will skip a weigh in, not on the schedule. I've considered cutting back to every other day on weights, just because sometimes the jumps annoy me. Don't feel secure with less than alternate days, regaining can come so easy and I don't want to end up having to lose 5-10 pounds (or worse) because I didn't monitor closely enough. On the other hand, I sometimes feel a bit obsessed with the daily ritual. Need to find balance.
I've been see-sawing in the 140's for 6 months, now. I guess you could say I've "plateaued". Having said that - I will try harder. This is a battle, indeed.
Are you losing weight through diet alone or do you exercise also...
