I've always been a bit of an introvert or loner, though I'm generally not fearful (do well in interviews, etc. eye contact, firm handshake), but I can't tell if I'm becoming more of an introvert as I get older, or some kind of recluse. I occasionally...

I'm new here and pretty much a full-bore introvert. I've also taken a couple of tests for Asperger's (a form of autism), which I passed with flying colors. I'm curious as to whether any of my fellow Aspies are members of this group?

Using an employer provided counselor. Anyone had any experience with this? Good bad ?

It is better to be alone than to wish you were alone.

While I crave social interaction, I find it (usually) quite draining. I often wonder if it drains the other. I wonder how obvious the succ is.

Sometimes it's hard being an introvert. Where do introverts go to meet a possible significant other? I don't like bars, or going out in general for the most part. I also don't fully trust online dating sites. So, any ideas?

Being alone and feeling alone to me are different. How do you combat the feeling of being alone even when you are with someone? Are we hardwired or programed to feel alone?

I'm new to the site and to this group. Cool to see a group just for people who know what it's like to be an introvert. Different personality assessments label me anywhere from 80% to 100% introverted, so I really don't know how I function. Here ...

Brand new here, both to the group and the site. Not sure what I think yet. Seems okay, but also a little dated/old school.
