I am a social introvert. I'll go out, but only if invited and its with people I know and trust. But, ironically, I am a mobile wedding dj. So I think I qualify more as socially confused.

When someone calls me and very apologetically says they have to cancel our meeting or lunch or dinner plans, and keeps apologizing profusely, I just want to say "THANK YOU FOR CANCELING"

I don't know if this comment will affect my standing as an introvert, but I find it so easy to be open online...I suppose I don't have to deal with the immediate rejection of someone doesn't like it...and I am comfy enough with myself that I don't ...

This is my mind process at the end of the work day when I can’t take the sight of one more human. They always move their mouths and sounds come out and I’m just like, I met my quota for today. Any further interactions involve a paddle.

I'm always the new guy. It doesn't help being an introvert lol

I am an social-anxiety ridden introvert. I'm proud be an introvert. It means I've read books, sought understanding and truth, and do my best avoid "those" people. Alone. Isolated. Frustrated. There's the good and the bad. Hi!

So how many of my introvert friends have an event, gathering, etc. this weekend that you are obligated to attend and are trying urgently to find a way out of it, knowing full well you have no choice.
