The Triffids are about half grown. Jap beetles took a significant toll on leaves this year. I've taken delivery on enough Milky Spore to inoculate the entire property, but it won't really go into effect until next year. Still, these will be moving...

Went to a friend"s little cabin yesterday, I was going to spend the night, But my dog Thor hurt his foot on some glass on the side of the road. Had to bring him home and take care of him. The fishing was good,The catfish weigh 23lbs.

The deer are starting to graze closer to the garden again, probably because it has been so dry lately, you can just make out a strip of clover by the edge of the garden fence that they haven't eaten - yet. Hopefully the garlic and lavender I planted...
