This is a grouping of pansies. I have a special fondness for pansies. I think of them as little soldiers. If they are in a cold climate, but planted in a somewhat sheltered place, I have seen them come up every year. I think that is why I like them....

This is a selfie a friend sent me. I do know it is a hardier orchid and very beautiful. She lives in a warmer climate, but these orchids will live inside if taken care of properly. I love all flowers. You will probably see more.

In Colorado we don't plant seeds outside until after Mother's Day. We had snow today, and will have more the entire month till mid May. I usually start my garden indoors. Culinary Garden is my specialty...but I love a succulent garden which grows ...

Can anyone identify these? This is an old root that sprouts new shoots yearly. I'm in North Florida, and we have indigenous onion and garlic, but not sure if these are one of those or if they are a toxic Lily that looks very similar. Plz help.

Spent most the day weeding my big garden today. Pole beans, bush beans, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach, beets, and okra. I moved the remaining radishes from here into a raised bed to make room for something else.
