As we move towards summer the spring garden certainly has hit some flower power this week. Cornflower, Phlox, Honeysuckle, Euphorbia.

While out on a walk this morning I came across this huge yuca. At least I think that what it is! 🤣 The huge flower stalk is amazing!!! We have been getting more rain here than usual, so I think that’s what helped it bloom.

Turns out this is a Royal Poinciana, aka Delonix Regia. Adding a close-up of the flowers. The APP is still turning photos sideways…it seems to think all images are shot in landscape mode…so, I cropped it square-ish.

Its the hight of the tree blossom season here now. The apple blossom is especially good this year nearly making the branches droop with the weight. The Acer is not bad either.
