Veggie seedlings in my greenhouse with a space heater at night. Still too cold to plant outside. It was 32 at my house last Tuesday night.

Ya gotta be hearty stock up north!
And here I am already a few weeks behind schedule for getting my sweet potatoes and cucumbers in the ground. (Nighttime lows need to be consistently above 60° for them).

Wow, those are beautiful and robust seedlings!

Your seedlings look great, when will you transplant them outdoors?

My 3 happy seedlings at 3 weeks after germination in my south windows.

I will be planting outside this week. The traditional planting date here is Memorial Day weekend. Our average last frost date is May 20th... I have a home weather station that tracks highs and lows outside and inside my greenhouse.

Lush. Fresh food all summer, but what do you do in the winter ?

I preserve and freeze much of what I don't eat fresh... and I grow a few greens and grape tomatoes indoors under grow lights...
