Amazing setup.
Apart from some clandestine hydroponic setups, i have never seen such commitment and dedication to gardening.
you are a true knight of gardeners, I am sure that you have many eager followers. .
Gardening in Akaska is very popular and plants grow very fast with 20+ hours of daylight in June. It still takes experience and effort to get the timing just right. Our last freeze date, where I live, is around May 20. If you plant too early you may get a freeze and you can't be late with our short season. Most serious gardeners start seedlings indoors from January - April. Warm season crops like tomatoes need a greenhouse. It is a mad dash to get your garden ready and plants in the ground over Memorial Day weekend... and many nurseries sell out by early June so if you snooze - you lose...
Excellent, Frosty Jim. I will attempt a little garden, or maybe a large raised bed this year. Although I have my doubts about trying to navigate with my walker on bumpy lawn. I know what: I have to find balloon tires on the walker!
Maybe you can set up a small salad garden like this?
