Photo on the left shows garden plant roots wrapped around an olla, drinking straight from its' surface. Photo on the right illustrates the hole from which the olla was pulled. Notice how the roots circle the hole! That's how an olla works!!

Homegrown sugar free pickled beets with pearl onions. I love these but store bought are loaded with sugar and blow my low carb diet. Now need to freeze a huge bag of greens.

I thought I’d share this because it is such a great idea. I am off looking for huge plastic containers and raiding recycling bins. No weeding, less watering. I’ll post as I go.
