Deutzia An increasing popular flowering shrub. I have 2 plants called Dutzia Pink-a-boo. It seems deer resistant but, as you can see, it also gets large and is another, of many in my gardens, that require attention.

Two daylilies with rather similar coloring, blooming on the same day, on different plants ... look at the difference in size! and although both use the yellow and red palette, there is the subtle hue differences and 'eye' pattern. I photographed them...

I've bored my coworkers with talk of seed starting and gardening. A noob to homesteading. I'm starting a garden from scratch in the front yard this year, and hopefully will have enough land cleared to get pigs next year.
