I thought I’d share a very successful way of gardening in small spaces or large spaces in large tubs and 5 gallon buckets. I kept four families in tomatoes this past summer the crop was a huge success. I used outdoor potting soil:

I mistakenly thought that Early Girl was nematode resistant, only now I discover only the bush variety and I planted the indeterminate variety. No wonder the size dropped off dramatically. I'm peeved that some local nurseries do not state disease...

Found this useful site for monitoring soil temps. Will wait until soil temp is 60F before planting spring bulbs. Check out how average temps are rising. Wonder when they will revise growing zones?

Moved the triffids and rubber tree + friend into the arboretum/bathroom for the winter. They will winter over successfully, plus providing an emergency TP source = 🌿🌿🌱.... 🍷👌😎

I love spring! Many roses bloom all season, but spring is when they are fresh-est, and abundant. This is Wedding Bells greeting me home from my work day. A totally trouble-free rose, AND refined. No chemicals necessary. 🤗

Day 13! I went out to take a picture..... chicks gone! I sat on the verandah and quietly observed where the parents went. Chicks are "kind of" able to fly. Parents still feeding them.
