I have finally found the gourds I want to grow.

My goodness, how can it be so cold again? It is 43 degrees here near Lake Ontario. I will have to check on my tomato plants. Leeks and onion sets are not indanger, and the herbs are all very tough, but the tomatoes!

This zucchini, 2 radish, green garlic shoots, fresh basil all out of my garden added with can of black beans, a can of stewed tomatoes, 2 chicken tenders, over rice for dinner. I'm thankful for this food.

This is a great picture. That is wild lavender growing on the mountain top. It grows like that in Bavaria. I am not sure if this is from there.

I had to tie up Miss Bateman last week. But she obviously liked it because she has rewarded me with lovely blooms this morning.

Just spent 2 hours weeding my raised beds....tomorrow I will do all the "containers" and "ground level" gardening :-) My raised beds are 8' x 32' and I have an 8'x8' one also (in the background next to compost heap)
