This is what happens when I wander around my property. New climbing roses & my peach trees - one still has flowers, the other almost totally devoid of flowers. They are about 15' apart. Part 1

Wandering the untamed portion of my property. My favorite tree - I know you really can't tell in the 1st three photos but the original tree fell and it almost looks like a branch turned into a tree. The next few are some kind of fern/ground cover. ...

I saw this garden gate at the weekend and quite liked it, I especially like the way they used the iron bird not in the main frame.

Loads of tomatoes set on, some as big as 3 and 1/2 inches wide. Although they are still green, I can already taste those black heirloom tomatoes in my mind. Just another 2 to 3 weeks until I can taste them in reality.

I am getting ready to start some tomatoes in pots. I like container gardening and since I'm most likely moving to an apt I will be doing more of this. If you have some experience in container gardening, something other than tomatoes, I would love it...

My 13 tomato plants are really growing. Since the last picture I posted, they have growm to 6 and 1/2 to 7 feet tall. In a week or so, they will grow to over 8 feet then begin to flop over to form a canopy between rows.

Whew. 4.5 hours to clean up, edge, weed, manure, and mulch the asparagus bed. Think I'll postpone a hike through the woods until tomorrow, if I can move. Where's the Chardonnay? ???
