My BlackLace Elderberry in full bloom, snuggled into the Deodora Cedar, with Wild Huckleberry to the fore. On the other side, it peeks through again above Rhodies, Hydrangea and native Cloudcap.

The iris are out in full force. Ended up with a bunch in the house as I had to dig a lot of them out to remove an invasive weed. Reset part of them, thinned them out and gave away a BUNCH. Still have more to move but will have to wait a few days ...

The unusual long flower spikes of Ligularia przewalskiae are coming out now in the garden down near the stream. Like a lot of flowers its named after a Russian general, who like many Russian officers back in Tsarist times doubled as an explorer.
