Apple blossom and Dandelion, no reason except that they are in season and I like them.

Garlic plants in my house

I managed to get the greenhouse glazed. With the help of a couple of friends from the village, we got all the glass in in one day. It has already got a couple of plants in it, a tree fern that is now in out of the winter cold, and some salad burnet, ...

I still have room for more...

Today's harvest after washing and culling out the "chewy" ones:

Rambling rose happily rambling in full bloom.

The garden is coming to its first full flush now, so I took a little walk round. Under the rose arch, and the tree branches. Down the steps to the pond are. Around to the seating. The fern bed. The small sundial garden. The wild wood.

This morning's views....

The Echinops ritro are in full flower, really big thistle like plants growing to six feet (2m) and like most thistles, they are really loved by the insects.

I planted 3 or 4 new daylilies this past Spring, all selected for having an "eye" and for being a rebloomer. So far this is the only one reblooming but oh boy, doing a good job of it, with 7 buds. Currently nos 3 and 4 are open, and gorgeous.

I have a confession. I am much better at ordering plants, seeds and bulbs, than I am at planting them.

Six little pea plants growing in a pot. How many days before their gardener forgets to bring them in and they freeze? I put them out yesterday to enjoy a light fall rain and some afternoon sun... and remembered them only this morning. Fortunately ...

For a short while I own a vast golden treasure, and then the Ginkgo will drop its leaves.

Just took this in the garden, and could not resist quoting Thomas Moore. Tis the last rose of summer, Left blooming alone; All her lovely companions Are faded and gone;

Today this orchid produced a second flower spray!

Looking out my front door on a cloudy day in Wasilla Alaska. Spoty rain in my area buy very little fell on my garden?

My second bloom on my lotus, my moon flower (dartura) and my passion fruit is ripe
