I picked the first cucumber of the season a few minutes ago. The bees were in the cukes and the zinnias. I had a butterfly in the zinnias, too but no camera.

The first harvest of garlic from this morning, about 175 bulbs were ready to be pulled, washed and set out to dry in the sun. There will be at least two more harvests as the rest of the crop ripens.

The Yukon Gold Potato Harvest Has Begun. I really like these potatoes but they have become very hard to find lately and the organic ones are really rare, so I grow my own. This is the first of 24 plants that I started a couple of months ago.

Stepped outside and took a stroll around the perimeter. Found a second non-white Calla Lily! And..... 2 cedar tree starts. Saved the cedar starts in this old Bonzai pot. Hopefully, I'll get another seed pod from that lily.
