Summer of '78 I was 14 and had a calender to keep up with all my mowing jobs. 5 bucks a pop! We were poor as hell so I felt rich with a pocket full of five's!
The problem is nobody can afford to pay you anymore....
My allowance of 50 cents a week included watering, mowing, weeding, and vacuuming the house back in the 50s. My father paid for it all with his huge $100 per week salary.
My parents were so cheap they only paid me 12 cents a week until I went on strike to get a quarter.... Little did they know I had side scams making me about 100.00 a month....
But there's no more grass!!

If you're looking for grass, go to Colorado. They sell it everywhere.
Oh, yes. I did plenty of mowing for money when I was a teenager in the 70's, and a pre-teen in the 60's.
