Generally, photography is all about composition and the photographer's vision. It's all about it. So, I'd rather say we see what they want us to see. Actually, photographers control our attention. I think the key role of any kind of art is to make people pay attention to problems artists are concerned about. Tbh, a simple womb chair, like this one here retrofurniture.org, can make you look at it, which attracts your attention. So, in short, we're not spoiled, but the author is.
