Sadly there’s an entire industry devoted to the “left behind” trope. It would seem that the concept of the rapture is ingrained in the collective insanity of faith!

As I recall, the Bible notes the number as being 144,000. As there are more than 600 million evangelicals in the world, only a tiny fraction will go missing. ( 0.023%)
