Now, there's actually a 6 weeks ban I would support, if there was one, haha, but there isn't one! It's their right to celebrate as long as they wish. Just like it's my right not to. It doesn't hurt me at all to see all the celebratory lights. Though after 6 weeks, they don't seem so special any more and I worry about the drain on the electricity grid, if displays get too outlandish.
