Christians are so immersed in their religion that they lose touch with reality sometimes. I have a very good friend who is church going but doesn't push it. She knows my views on religion and Christianity . It is irrational illogical and nonsensical. I was relating a tale to her about the time I was helping to crew a yacht and we were caught in a storm and I was convinced that I was about to die.
She made the sign of the cross and said "I bet you were furiously doing this". There was silence apart from the sound of my jaw hitting the floor
