Definitely about Mormons or any religious sect knocking on my door trying to push their religion down my throat.
I thought Cam and Mitch in Modern Family as fictional characters being gay and going through the arc of same-sex marriage legalization were helpful to me as cis-hetero and not having enough personal experience with gay people. It wasn’t forcing anything on me. Butters in South Park was a pioneering character too.
Being that I was gifted with a keg by JWs on my birthday over a decade ago I formed a less judgmental opinion on them. Haven’t encountered Mormons much but they seem overtly nice. But they identify religiously which is far more malleable than those who are LGBTQ+. Still though I dislike how JWs were treated in Putin’s Russia. LGBTQ+ folks in Russia are treated like crap too. Cue any Pussy Riot video! I love Pussy Riot for being Russian, cutting against Putin’s grain, and enduring far more than I could muster as a result of their steadfast courage!

From a demographer's POV...gayness...or homosexuality - is a natural reaction to population stress.
Too many people = fewer having large families - and more "homosexual" relationships.
Gay is a slang, old fashioned word...it connotes a "happy or gay lifestyle.
"Gay" friends I know are not happy...and all suffer from some social pressure
