Honest question.
I'm currently looking at a Hawaiian trip.
My 90 yr old dad is QUITE "religious". (Mormon)
I'm wondering if I should take him on a "Holy Land" tour of Israel, Egyot, and Petra, instead.
What is the consensus of my little atheist comrads?
It would be pretty cool....

This will be his last trip so make it enjoyable for the both of you. Take the higher ground, but your differences aside and enjoy the journey to whatever destination you arrive at.

Well, firstly, this technically should probably have been Posted in "General" or somewhere, rather than here (you'd get a wider "audience" ), but that's a minor thing. No big.
As to your question, either destination can be deifying & entertaining. The amount of history in places like the "Holy Land", whether one is religious or not, is amazing & if you plan things right you can touch on a hell of a lot!
Hawaii has its own allure. The flora & fauna there is unique & lush, & you've got an active volcano!
Best bet is to ask your Dad what interests him most & what he's physically up to.
Hope you both have a great time no matter where you end up, even if it's Brooklyn!

P.S. I believe we have a few Hawaiin "natives", both in this Group & on the Site that may be able to help you out if you decide to go there. May want to reach out to them.

Ask him which he prefers unless it's a surprise then choose a trip where there will be more stuff to do for him

Hi Kevin, nice to meet you. I believe questions are best to put in another general group. Memes belong here. I believe there is a way to repost the question by editing although I have never done it myself. Thanks.
